- 8 oz. Tempeh (thinly sliced)
- 1 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
- 1 tsp. Smoked Paprika
- ¼ tsp. Garlic Powder
- ¼ tsp. Onion Powder
- 8 Slices Vegan Rye Bread
- 1 Cup Sauerkraut (drained)
- 4 Slices Vegan Swiss Cheese
- ¾ Cup Vegan Russian Dressing
Instructions
- In a shallow dish, whisk together soy sauce, vegetable oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Add the tempeh slices, making sure each slice is well coated.
- Let marinate for 10 minutes.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Add marinated tempeh slices and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned and heated through. Set aside.
- Assemble the sandwiches by spreading a generous layer of dressing on one side of each bread slice. On four of the slices, layer the tempeh, sauerkraut, and vegan Swiss cheese.
